Traditional frazadas are perhaps the last vestige of traditional hand weaving still thriving in the central Andes. Recognized by their thickness, bold and colorful striped patterns, these frazadas are made from sheep's wool. They are handwoven and then hand spun. This one is about 30-40 years old and is in awesome shape. It can be used as a blanket, rug, wall hanging or textile for upholstery projects.
